I have been teaching at Lakewood for the past 32 years. I started out just teaching 6th grade for 21 years, then I taught just 6-8 grade math for 3 years, 8 years as a 5th grade teacher and now I am the math interventionist and Learning By Design Coach for our virtual academy. I chose teaching because I love working and helping students be the best they can be.
Along with my students here at school, I am married with 2 children of my own. My oldest, Marnie, graduated from UW Madison in biology and is a nurse in Madison and Keegan graduated from UW Green Bay in teaching and is teaching 4th grade.
I enjoy doing my own activities such as golfing, boating, running or walking , hiking or spending time on our property up north to name just a few. Lakewood is a great place and I am glad to be part of this family.
